With over 35 years of hand drawn digital illustration and design, Clark Mitchell has built a one-of-a-kind career. Mitchell has prominent working relationships with brands such as Star Wars, Hasbro, Mattel, Marvel, Time Magazine, Coors, Budweiser, Disney, Corona, and Coke Cola. His journey has also led him into the sports and entertainment fields designing for the NBA, NFL, MLB, movies, musicians, professional athletes, and much more.
Mitchell states, “My purpose is to lead by example and to provide for my family and give my wife my son, my daughters and my grandkids something to strive for and let them see that you can be successful doing what you love and be happy doing it. I want my family to be proud of the efforts i made to better their lives in the future by leaving a legacy that will give to them long after I’m gone and share the positive wisdom I’ve learned through my journey to the world. I'm very excited to network and reach out to the public to share my work and meet fellow artists and fans of digital art and design.” Now with amazing clients and intellectual properties, being a part of pop culture for the last 35 plus years has now advanced to the NFT arena. I know the evolution of art collecting is here. Immortalize the sports icons, celebrities, and heroes you admire with exclusive pieces of digital art that are uniquely yours for generations to come.
Graduated with BFA with Advertising and graphic design at Sam Houston State University in 1987. Moved to Atlanta to attend The Portfolio Center for further education in Illustration. I was hired on as an illustrator at The Graphics group in 1988 through 1991. I moved to Dallas in 1991 to start a new job at a company called Stat Cat, a design and illustration company that did most of their business for Tracy Lock Locke who had Pepsi and Frito-Lay as accounts. After several years of doing illustration on the board Stat Cat became Studio 212 and invested in computers to try and get into the digital game. Studio 212 also purchased the Quanel Paintbox which is the computer I learned how to do digital illustration. It was the only computer at the time that painted in real time. With the paint box and a great team we became one of the most sought after illustration studios in the country. We began our journey into doing work with Pepsi, coke, Coors, Budweiser ,Time magazine Hasbro and many more. After Studio 212 was sold to another company in the late 90s myself and three other workmates decided to go into business for ourselves. We started a studio called 4G2. We were one of the fist studios to be hired to do the First Star Was games and toy illustrations when hasbro landed the Star Wars account. After five years I left 4G2 with one of the partners and my son and started Ranch 5 and continued work for all the clients listed above. I am now on my own and have been for over 15 years. I had the pleasure of working with not just game clients but also with slot machine gaming were I have produced art for over 45 games in the last couple years. Im still working in a huge capacity with Hasbro and most of their brands along with new NFT project with great teams of people. My son and I have had the pleasure of doing all the assets for a new NFT Blockchain dice game called Draco Dice, one of the first of its kind in this space and we are working with other groups who have brought us several athletes and movie stars to produce NFTS for. I’m also working on a project at the moment with Sly Stallone who’s NFTs will be launching soon. We have been fortunate in being able to team up with great people such as the two individuals Rick Tuinenburg and Robert Wallace on creating our own avatar project ZRØΞFX™ that will have many facets beyond just the nets we produce.
